Farmer’s Spring Cheese is the smaller, fresh spring version of our beloved Boeren Juweel. Made from the very first fresh pasture milk of spring and handcrafted according to a traditional recipe, using fresh daily milk straight from the farm. Soft, full and creamy, with a wonderfully smooth taste.
Spring Jewel – Farmer’s Spring Cheese from Hoogendoorn Kaas
Farmer’s Spring Cheese is a true seasonal cheese that cheese lovers look forward to every spring. At Hoogendoorn Kaas, we see this cheese as the little spring sister of our beloved Farmer's Jewel: artisanal, creamy and full of flavour, but in a fresh, young spring version.
This Farmer’s Spring Cheese is made from the very first pasture milk of spring. As soon as the cows return to the meadows after winter and enjoy the young, tender grass, the milk develops an extra full and creamy flavour. You can taste this immediately in this soft, smooth farmhouse cheese.
Artisanal, creamy and temporarily available
Our Farmer’s Spring Cheese comes from Berkenwoude, in the Stolwijk region, and is traditionally made from fresh daily pasture milk from the farm. A pure farmhouse cheese with a soft texture and a wonderfully creamy spring flavour.
The taste is mild, full and smooth. Perfect on bread, for lunch, on a cracker or cut into cubes for a cheese platter. Thanks to its soft character, this spring cheese is easy to enjoy, yet special enough for true cheese lovers.
Just like Boeren Juweel, this Farmer’s Spring Cheese is only temporarily available. A small seasonal jewel from the farm, freshly cut and carefully packed by Cheeseonline. Once it’s gone, it’s truly gone.

Our farmhouse cheese with fenugreek is a particularly delicious cheese with a nutty and spicy flavor. The fenugreek provides a unique flavor which makes the cheese suitable for a brown bread, but also for a cheeseboard this cheese is a topper.
