Delicious young mature cheese made from the best thermised milk. When milk is thermised, it means that the milk is slightly heated before the cheese is made.
The milk is heated above 40 °C, but the temperature does not exceed 72 °C. From the this temperature, the milk is pasteurised.
The addition of Italian truffle gives this young mature cheese an intense flavour. A true delicacy you must have tasted once.
Italian black truffle
Cheese and truffle are a wonderful combination. The black truffle in our cheeses comes from Italië. Truffles are not easy to find, growing underground on roots of different tree species.
To track down the truffles, dogs are often used to find this precious delicacy. When they find the truffles, it is important that they are well ripe, as only then the flavour comes out best.
Good truffles cannot be grown in The Netherlands, as this exclusive fungus needs a Mediterranean climate and chalky soil.
Serving truffle cheese
Truffle cheese is delicious to eat on the go or as a slice on a sandwich. Of course, it is also possible to serve a piece of truffle cheese on a cheeseboard.
