Farmer's Jewel
Farmer's Jewel is by far the best product from the farm. Farmer's Jewel cheese is only made in specially selected farms in the Dutch polder. A truly Dutch product.
The basis of this delicious cheese is the fresh full-fat, untreated milk from the cows that roam the farm.
Within 24 hours of the cows being milked, the milk is processed into cheese according to traditional Dutch recipes. Thanks to the fresh whole milk, this farmhouse cheese owes its beautiful structure and is velvety smooth in taste.
Traditional ripening
In our own traditional maturing house, these cheeses are ripened on wooden boards. These Farmer's cheeses are given at least 30 weeks to mature.
Slowly but surely, the flavours that are so characteristic of our Farmer's Jewel develop. To allow these cheeses to mature evenly, they have to be turned regularly. Of course, we do this by hand for the best results.
Processing Farmer's Jewel
Farmer's Jewel is a delicious velvety soft cheese that everyone loves. Delicious on sandwiches, but also fantastic with drinks or as a snack.
Our Farmer's Jewel is also excellent in various hot dishes. Try making stuffed portobello shells with spicy minced meat. Delicious in the oven with quite a bit of grated Farmer's Jewel.

Our whole mature Stolwijk cheese is a deliciously flavorful farmhouse cheese weighing 17 kilograms. This mature farmhouse cheese is made from raw milk and matures for at least 16 weeks in our aging facility.
Thanks to the traditional aging process, our aged Stolwijk farmhouse cheese has a delicious Robuust and Intens character, is full of salt crystals and crumbly texture.
