Delicious organic young mature cheese made from the milk of Jersey cows. The cheeses are made in the South Holland village of Ouddorp and are matured in our traditional maturing house after the preparation process. These organic cheeses are given at least 8 weeks to mature. What results is a special cheese with a full creamy character.
Unlike milk from other cows, Jersey cows give milk with a different composition of fats and proteins.
Jersey milk contains on average 85% more fat and 40% more protein. The cheese is much creamier and fuller in flavour for this reason. Therefore, the cheese is from these cows is easily distinguishable from normal cheeses.
