Gouda young cheese, like all our Gouda cheeses, is made from only the very best Dutch milk according to traditional Dutch recipe. The young cheese is given just four weeks to mature in our maturation house.
The short ripening process ensures that our young cheeses have a delicious, mild creamy flavor. In addition, thanks to the short aging process, these cheeses taste less salty than older cheeses. The mild taste of these cheeses is extremely suitable if you do not like a pronounced cheese taste.

Our young cheeses are of course perfect for on bread, but you can also incorporate young cheese into various dishes with the greatest of ease. It is delicious to cut young cheese into small cubes and melt them in a stew, for example. This cheese is also great to use as a garnish in a quiche, for example.
