Young Gouda cheese
Gouda young cheese, like all our Gouda cheeses, is made from only the very best Nederland milk according to traditional Nederlands recipe. The young cheese is given just four weeks to mature in our maturing house.
The short maturation process ensures that our young cheeses have a delicious, mild creamy taste. In addition, thanks to the short ripening process, these cheeses taste less salty than older cheeses. The mild flavour of these cheeses is perfect if you like a taste that is not too pronounced.
Processing young Gouda cheese
Of course, a young cheese is very tasty on a sandwich, but young cheese can also be used in various dishes. It is delicious to cut young cheese into small cubes and melt them in a stew, for example. Do you like to make your own delicious quiches? Then use our Gouda young cheese as a garnish.
Don't forget that young cheese is at its best the traditional Dutch way: with drinks or as a snack on the go.
