Dutch mature goat cheese
Delicious cheese made from pasteurized Dutch Geitenmelk. This mature cheese has a typical nutty and somewhat sweeter taste which makes it particularly Smaakvol and delicious Pittig.
Goat cheese has a much whiter color than cheese made from cow's milk. This has everything to do with the grass the goats eat. Cows also eat grass, but convert the leafy green of the grass into catopeen: an orange dye. This then ends up in the cow's milk, giving it a yellowish color.
Unlike cows, goats convert the chlorophyll of the grass into the colorless vitamin A. This makes the goat's milk much whiter.
Processing mature goat cheese
Our mature goat's cheese is for the cheese lover who wants something extra: delicious Licht pikant and a Pittig character. A cheese for the real lover and very unique in its kind. The goat's cheese is delicious on bread, a sandwich or a panini.
You can also process aged goat cheese with the greatest of ease in various hot and cold dishes. For example, make an oven dish with melted goat cheese for a delicious spicy bite, or a tasty goat cheese salad.
