Dutch matured goat's cheese
Delicious cheese made from pasteurised Dutch goat's milk. This mature cheese has a typical nutty and slightly sweeter taste that makes it particularly tasty and nicely spicy.
Goat's cheese has a much whiter colour than cheese made from cow's milk. This has everything to do with the grass the goats eat. Cows also eat grass, of course, but convert the leafy green of the grass into catopeen: an orange dye. This then ends up in the cow's milk, giving it a yellowish colour.
Unlike cows, goats convert the leafy green of the grass into the colourless vitamin A. This makes the goat's milk much whiter.
Serving matured goat's cheese
Our mature goat's cheese is for the cheese lover who wants something extra: deliciously slightly tangy and with a spicy character. A cheese for the real lover and very unique in its kind. Goat's cheese is delicious on bread, a sandwich or a panini.
You can also incorporate mature goat's cheese into various hot and cold dishes with the greatest of ease. For example, make an oven dish with melted goat's cheese for a delicious spicy bite, or a tasty goat's cheese salad.
