Goat cheese and truffle are a delicious combination. This black truffle in our goat cheeses comes from Italië. Good tuffles cannot be grown in The Netherlands, as this exclusive fungus needs a Mediterranean climate and chalky soil.
To track down truffles, dogs are often used to find this precious delicacy. When they find the truffles, it is important that they are well ripe, as only then the flavour comes out best.
