Our Grated Perennial Stolwijk Farmers’ Cheese is a powerful ingredient for anyone who enjoys characterful, long-matured cheese. It is made from fresh milk delivered directly from the farm and is matured for at least three years in our traditional ageing house.
During its long maturation, the cheese develops a robust and intense flavour, a crumbly texture and delicious salt crystals. We freshly grate the cheese, making it ready to use straight away.
It is delicious over pasta, oven dishes, salads and soups. It is also perfect for making a full-flavoured cheese sauce or adding a crispy cheese topping to gratinated dishes. Thanks to its intense flavour, only a small amount is needed to add plenty of character to your dish.
After grating, the cheese is carefully packaged to preserve its flavour and freshness.
