Pan Pan is a slightly cuminous cheese characterised by its low fat content. According to a traditional Leiden recipe, this unique cheese has been made for hundreds of years. Thanks to the special production process, the cheese has a firm structure. The cumin seeds give it a delicious nutty flavour.
The lean pan pan cheeses are ripened in the traditional way in our warehouse. Here, the cheeses are given between 8 and 10 weeks to come to taste.
