This aged cheese is made from milk from real Jersey cows. This cheese is made and aged in South Holland's Ouddorp. In the traditional maturing warehouse, the cheeses are given ample time to come to taste under the watchful eye of the cheese masters.
The milk from Jersey cows is characterized by the fact that it contains many times more protein and fat than milk from normal cows. On average, it contains 85% more fat and 40% more protein. This makes cheese from Jersey cows much creamier and fuller in flavor.
Serving and processing old Jersey cheese
The cheese is Romig and full of flavor so it can be eaten in all ways: on bread, on the go, off a cheese board ... it's all possible. Also, this old Jersey cheese is suitable to be processed through various dishes.
