Stolwijk mature farmhouse cheese is made from fresh milk straight from the farm. The cheeses are then traditionally produced on the farm. Farmhouse cheeses are handmade. After the production process, the cheese needs to mature.
Our mature farmhouse cheeses are aged for at least 16 weeks in our aging facility. The maturing process gives our young to mature cheeses a creamy flavor. These are very flavorful cheeses you absolutely must try.
Using whole Stolwijk mature farmhouse cheese
Our mature farmhouse cheese is perfect for sandwiches, but you can also easily incorporate young cheese into a variety of dishes. For example, it’s delicious to cut the young cheese into small cubes and melt them into a traditional Dutch stamppot. This cheese also works great as a topping for dishes like quiche.
Of course, Stolwijk mature farmhouse cheese can also be served with drinks or simply enjoyed as a snack on its own.
