Tynjetaler originated in Tynje in Friesland and is made on De Gelder farm. Near the nature reserve "de Deelen", in the heart of Friesland.
A real family business which started in 1962. They did not start making cheese right away, but started producing various dairy products. Examples include milk, yoghurt, custard and buttermilk.
